I love creating designer toys in my free time. It’s a passion project for me to design my own characters and bring them to life in a 3D, tangible way. All of these toys are painted by hand, and are original designs of my characters.
Here is a selection of images that showcase the process of taking a 3D printed resin figure, then prepping them for the painting stage.
They are printed on an 18k resin printer, where I then remove their supports, sand them, prime them, and finally go in with acrylic paint. I also add a touch of colored pencil to each handpainted figure, so they can have a more elementary quality to them.
